“I am concerned with spirituality, the idea of an individual’s journey and the felt experience of that journey. The seeker is not one who has answers, but one who yearns for them. In this way a wayfarer, in their act of seeking, might achieve an outcome that could be the exploration itself. Similarly, I am not trying to convey a final thought. The works become an intuitive expression of the process of searching for something -or the process of trying or yearning to be grounded. I am interested in what we might come to ‘know’ through seeking to understand the universe we find ourselves in -more specifically our relationship to it, to the space we interact with. And in that process hope to experience some kind of progression through veils of understanding that show us our own shortcomings and limited perspectives.”
