The overarching theme of this exhibition ‘Desire: to possess or be possessed’ is Dalinian. Within this context, the exhibition is a celebration of the Winter Solstice.  It was suggested that participating artists consider an agrarian Greek myth in which Persephone was carried away and ravished by Hades, the Greek god of the underworld, leaving behind her distraught mother Demeter. The events in the myth describe actions taken by the Olympian gods and goddesses causing the great cycle of the four seasons and the human span of birth, life, and death.

This exhibition is intended to showcase a casual association of artists whose differing points of view will entertain the audience, while also challenging their perceptions.
